The sensor produces about 350 counts per second here in my room.
That is about 21000 CPM. As a comparison, my Gamma-Scout with its
LND712 tube yields about 15 CPM. The average dose rate here is about
0,2µSv/h as measured with various geiger counters.
An old wrist watch put aside the sensor drives the hartbeat up
for about 3000 CPM, while the Gamma-Scout stays quiet
and does not seem to react at all.
The question arouses: what to do with such a super sensitive
equipment? I am not going to do secret observations, because
I don't have the radioactive marker substances which the devilish
communists used on civilians:
